Summary by Penguin Publisher

Review by Bushcraft.nu

Some of the best books are the books that are written by pure love and excitement for the subject. It’s like hearing an old teacher who’s really into his subject and talks about it in a way that gets you excited about learning more about it. That pretty much sums up this book.

The writing aren’t that of a college professor carefully weighing his words to get to the best possible sentence structure. Nope. It’s more that of a man who has spent quite a bit of his life adventuring and enjoying every second of it and just can’t wait to finish writing and get back out there!

The book itself is packed full of images, funny stories, warnings and encouragements to get out there. It’s not a book about one particular subject, like hiking, diving, rafting, etc., but more a collection of adrenaline sports. Due to this, the book will serve better as a sort of inspiration source than any type of guide. It’s one of those books that you’d want to pick up in spring when you try to decide on this summer’s big adventure.

With that said, the book does contain a lot of information and great bits of knowledge about each activity. You can tell that this book is written by someone who have walked the walked and talks from experience.

Recommendation

Highly recommended book for anyone who’s interested in adventures of all kinds and not just sipping coffee in front of a campfire. I believe anyone who enjoys the outdoors would find something of interest in this book! The adventures in the book aren’t just adrenaline sports. There’s a lot of adventures that are highly suitable for families, or perhaps a dad looking for a suitable adventure that will make great memories for his kids.
